This Policy applies to all persons working for Gill Aggregates Ltd or on the Company’s behalf, including employees, directors, senior management, agency workers, contractors and suppliers. 

Gill Aggregates Ltd strictly prohibits the use of modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain. The company is committed to implementing processes to drive out acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within the organisation and its supply chains, including subcontractors and partners. 

This Policy seeks to help Gill Aggregates Ltd uphold the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, as well as reflect our commitment to act with due diligence and integrity in all its dealings, relationships and supply chains. We expect our suppliers to hold their own suppliers to these same high standards. 

Gill Aggregates Ltd are committed to safeguarding against modern slavery and human trafficking, as demonstrated by the following measures: 

• The Company has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking
• The supplier approval process incorporates a review of the controls undertaken by the supplier. With imported goods from sources outside the UK and EU being potentially more susceptible to slavery/human trafficking issues, the level of management control required for these sources are continuously monitored 
• The Company will not knowingly support or deal with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking
• Any breaches to company policy will lead to disciplinary action in accordance with the Company’s Disciplinary Policy 
• The Company will continue to develop its commitment to the provisions in the Modern Slavery Act and provide staff training where appropriate 

This Policy Statement will be reviewed annually to ensure its continuing suitability and relevance to The Company’s activities.
